Trustech is a Global Event dedicated to Payments, Identification and Security. It is taking place in Paris from November 30 to December 2, 2021. Stephan D. Hofstetter, Managing Partner of SECOIA will be presenting a paper on the first day of the event.
The topic is in the field of the UN Legal Identity Agenda (LIA). LIA supports the implementation of the strategic development goals (SDG) target 16.9, ”legal identity for all, including birth registration, by 2030”. In this context a new guide was developed to assist issuing authorities and border management agencies to prepare for free movement Zones. The presentation explores ways to standardise crossborder identity document systems, both regionally and globally, to facilitate easier international travel and migration.
There will be take aways for both members of public bodies, as well as for the industry, supporting a common basis of understanding.
