The event is hosted by the IOM - UN Migration and the Asia Pacific Smart Card Association (APSCA). The event has become Asia’s largest government gathering, bringing together national government agencies specialising in #Immigration, #HomeAffairs, #BorderControl, #CivilRegistration and more.
The BMIC platform allows stakeholders from these areas to exchange information on the latest developments in border and identity management and includes an exhibition of the latest solutions and technologies. BMIC will take place at the AVANI Riverside Bangkok Hotel in Thonburi, #Bangkok, #Thailand.
Stephan Hofstetter will be presenting on day 2 on the subject of "Root Identity: The roadmap to standardization of breeder documents and data", in his capacity as editor of CEN prTS 17489-5 of the Comité Européen de Normalisation - European Comittee for Standardization - Europäisches Komitee für Normung.
