The pillars
Upon contemplating the establishment of SECOIA in 2012, Stephan Hofstetter drew inspiration from his extensive experience in the security sector. He was intrigued by the innovative solutions crafted within different segments of the industry, yet perplexed by the barriers separating them. The idea of fostering collaboration through methods, expertise, and networking intrigued him. Thus, security, networking, and unwavering achievement emerged as the fundamental pillars on which SECOIA was to be founded, reflected in both its name and logo.
Dedicated to the community
SECOIA experts have dedicated their time and expertise for many years to participate in international working groups under the leadership of ISO, ICAO, and CEN on a pro bono basis. Also, our support has been instrumental in facilitating and promoting educational campaigns to foster social communities in Africa and Latin America.
